I am trying to compile a list of interested bloggers who would be interested in participating. I have a wide variety of genres coming on board from a steamy romance to a great mystery series. As soon as I get a list of how many of you are interested, I will start posting the details as they come in. The opportunity is open to bloggers of all genres.

If you are interested please post your email and your URL so that I can get you added to the list. As soon as the site is complete you will be the first to know!

Review: The New Life by Betty A. Burnett

About The New Life by Betty A. Burnett

The New Life, by Betty A. Burnett, is an inspirational book written to help followers of Christ learn more about salvation. Whether you are a new believer, or have questions about salvation, The New Life, will help you understand more about what it truly means to be saved through Christ and obtain salvation.

Author Betty A. Burnett did a great job of writing The New Life, so that people of ages, including teenagers could understand what she is trying to teach. This books starts from the very beginning with God's plan for us. The first chapter starts with Genesis and tells of how and why God created man, along with why He loves of dearly.

Stephanie's Review of The New Life

After receiving a copy of The New Life from to review, I sat down and read the entire book in less than two days since it is not very long. I had hoped the book would have went more in depth on 'the right things to do' and how to do them, but it didn't. It did focus on salvation, how to avoid being corrupted by the devil, and God Almighty's purpose for us.
Again, while I had hoped to learn more about strengthening my relationship with Jesus, I did find this book useful for a few things I didn't already understand.  I can fully appreciate Author Betty A. Burnett's time and wisdom to create such a teaching so that others can learn more about Jesus Christ and God's plan for all of us.

Mailbox Monday

It's Monday again... While it means the start of a new work week, it also means it's time for Mailbox Monday!
This is only my second week at my new book blog so I am ever grateful to already be getting books in the mail from authors and publishers seeking my reviews.

This week I received 3 books in the mail- and a variety to say the least, which I appreciate as it keeps things moving along in an interesting way with new stories from different genres. Best of all, I received my first childrens  book, as well. So let's see what I got, shall we?

Southern Adventures

The first book is Southern Adventures, by Tracey Kauffman. This book was rather small so I actually got a chance to read it in between other books. It was a nice little story, more like a memoir, and based on real events. It told the story of how looking at an old box of photos can bring back a tons of memories, both good and bad, both happy and painful.

Sally Singletary's Curiosity

Next was Sally Singletary's Curiosity, by J. M. Cataffo. It's a whopping 478 pages, but hopefully it won't take long to tackle. The reviews are all really good so I'm looking forward to it!

The Treasure Bed

Last, but not least, was The Treasure Bed. A cute children's book I received from author Pamela June Cohen after winning it through a Goodreads giveaway.

The book is about a little girl who needed a new bed. but was less than thrilled about her mother purchasing it from a second hand store. Come to find out, her friend has a bed she also received from a second hand store and refurbished.

I plan on sitting down and reading this one to Katelynn this week. The illustrations are bright and colorful so I am sure she will enjoy it, though she is too young to understand the story.

Thanks to all the authors who sent
these great books for me to enjoy!
